Globe Bug Sim For Sale

Posted by Boffill Bernardes Monday, March 4, 2013
A few weeks back, I mentioned about the glitch on Globe’s unlimited internet promos. I have seen online that there are still a lot of people who are able to take advantage of this and were able to get a free connection from Globe thru bugging their sim card. I’d say these people are still lucky that they weren’t caught by Globe Telecoms yet. One thing is for sure, Globe is making their best to fix this issue.
Globe Bug Sim

On an online community where I am a bit active, I have seen lots of users who are even abusing this problem by selling their bugged sim cards. I tried googling about this issue and I think it’s not only from the forum I’m on that it’s very rampant. Even on the other online forum, selling of bugged sim cards is very common. Selling of Globe bugged sim is not only common from online forum but also to some online selling portal like Sulit.
Globe Bug Sim For Sale

I think they shouldn’t be doing this if they would still want to enjoy this free connection they get from Globe. Globe bugging tools are enough I suppose. Maybe they should just share the process on how to bug Globe’s sim card instead of selling it. There is a big probability that Globe Telecoms is already aware about this issue and I think they are handling the situation. Some guys online should learn what low profile is.

Acer Aspire V5 Review

Posted by Boffill Bernardes Sunday, February 17, 2013
A laptop has been an essential tool for every blogger around the world. I don’t consider myself a pro-blogger but since blogging is one of my past times, I have decided to purchase a new laptop. I have been using an old laptop for blogging, the HP Compaq Presario but I’m getting a lot of issues on its LCD. There are lines popping out at the top and at the bottom of the screen. Instead of having it fixed from a technician, I decided to just purchase a new notebook, an Acer Aspire V5. The V5 has been released on the third quarter of 2012.

There are 3 different model types I believe and it is being distinguished thru its processor. The one that I bought is the Acer Aspire V5 with Dual Core 3rd Generation processor. I actually wanted the i3 powered processor but they don’t have the supply for the unit yet.

The V5 has 4GB memory and 500GB Hard Drive. It has two 2.0 USB port and one 3.0 port which amazes me so much. I was transferring movies from my colleague’s external hard drive through the 3.0 port and the transfer rate is very impressive. The V5 has Bluetooth and WIFI connectivity. All of the V5 units are preloaded with Windows 8 Operating System. The reason why I wanted the higher processor is because of the speed when processing data and also, it has a dedicated number keypad and keyboard backlight. You’re not gonna get those when you purchase the Dual Core version which disappoints me so much. But still I like the V5 because it’s too light to carry.

You know, you can’t enjoy the Windows 8 if you’re notebook doesn’t have touch screen and good thing was that V5 has a touch screen feature. It has a 10-point touch screen feature and you can do it also thru the touch pad. Traditional transferring of window to window is thru Alt+Tab but with the V5; you can do it thru the touch pad easily. You just have to swipe the touch pad from the left panel. All in all, I’m very satisfied with the unit. For now, I'm not getting any issues or bugs on the product but I'll keep you posted if I caught one. Cheers!

Free Internet via Satellite

Posted by Boffill Bernardes Monday, January 28, 2013
Internet Satellite
Get Free Internet anytime anywhere on your mobile phone. Isn't that wonderful? While I was on my way to work this morning, my curious mind have got me a very wonderful question. Can Internet be transmitted thru satellite just like the GPS on mobile devices? Most mobile devices coming out of the market right now is capable of navigating because of the GPS chip installed on its hardware. The device gets the signal directly to the satellite. Not everyone is getting the most out of it because they do not know the capabilities of the features their mobile device can offer. I wonder if the Internet can work the same way too. A chip that can transmit Internet connection from satellite will be installed on mobile devices. If it will become available, all of us can be able to use the Internet even if we are in the middle of nowhere. Updating status on Facebook could be done anywhere. Uploading photos, tweeting and chatting will become mobile. We're not gonna pay monthly bill anymore to our service provider but instead, we only buy mobile device that can transmit Internet direct from the satellite. I know it's a very long process just like the GPS that took how many years before it was publicly released because only the military can use GPS. So, what do you think? Do you like the idea? Share your thoughts by commenting below this post.

Globe Bug Sim

Posted by Boffill Bernardes Monday, January 21, 2013
Globe bug Sim. Globe bug has been very rampant nowadays specially online. I admit I was able to benefit at it once but I think Globe Telecom caught my number and didn't allow any registration from me anymore. Globe bug has two types, the Supersurf and Unlialltrio. If you were able to bug your sim thru registering to those promo I have mentioned, you can now enjoy a one month of free internet to your mobile phone or globe tattoo broadband. There's a lot of tricks available online so if you want to bug your globe Sim card, go ahead and search for it using your favorite search engine.

Globe bug

There are actually 2 modes on bugging your globe sim card, one is by sending the promo code and dialing the *143# on your dial pad and another is by web registration or commonly called web trick. Some filipino's are too clever to even create a dedicated software for bugging also called bugging tools. When I tried this trick, I used the sms plus dial trick but it was really hard for me to register to the promo. They said that there are specific sim cards that you can use to register but I think that notion isn't true. I believe that there are right timing in bugging though. Globe Telecom actually knows about this issue and I think they are currently handling the situation. I heard that some can still be able to register for free but some are not lucky and I belong to those unlucky people. It is a was between globe's subscriber and the company. I'm sure there would still be a new trick to be leaked by some clever minds soon, I just don't know when.

Colgate Sensitive Pro-relief

Posted by Boffill Bernardes Sunday, January 20, 2013
Colgate Sensitive Pro-relief, a dental product I would recommend to everyone who's suffering from toothache or tooth sensitivity. When I saw the tv ad of this certain product, I was not really convinced that this can be real. How could it ease the pain in just a matter of seconds after you use it? That was not really convincing to me but it changed when I had a chance of using it yesterday.

Colgate Sensitive Pro-relief

I have been suffering from toothache for about a week now. Yesterday, I went to this nearby store to ask if they have garlic since my colleague advised me to put a garlic on my teeth to ease the pain. The owner told me that it was not a good idea because the garlic's odor is not that good. She told me to try this new product from Colgate called Sensitive Pro-relief. I remember it was the one being aired in tv where there was a girl from a mall called by the dentist to try their product. I bought the product and immediately put a pinch of it on my finger to apply it on my tooth. After a few seconds, I felt like I am not suffering from toothache anymore. It lasted for how many hours until evening. I never thought that the ad aired on tv was for real. Remember when we order hamburger on foodchains and we were expecting that we're gonna get the same appearance of the burger from tv but we were just dismayed of what we have received because it was totally different from the ad. I felt the same way too when I bought the toothpaste but that change after I tried it myself. Now, I am recommending this product to everyone who's suffering from toothache or having a sensitive teeth. I am a happy customer and I'm letting everyone know that there's "NO PAIN AT ALL"

No more update for Garmin Mobile XT

Posted by Boffill Bernardes Tuesday, January 15, 2013
A few days back, I sent an email to Garmin's customer service and asked if there's an upcoming update for the Garmin Mobile XT. I was told by the agent that the Garmin Mobile XT support has been stopped. It has been removed from their main line of products.

Garmin Mobile XT

I have been an avid fan of the software since I discovered it way back 2008. Everytime I buy a new phone, the first application I install is Garmin Mobile XT. I always make sure that it works fine in my phone. Too bad now that I'm not gonna get any update from the software anymore. Garmin has been my number 1 choice when it comes to navigation software. It didn't failed me even for once. The reason why I don't like android mobile phones is because I can't install Garmin on it. Yes there are navigational applications available for android mobile phones like the Navdroyd but when I tried it on an android phone, it didn't gave me the user experience I had with Garmin. Even Nokia Maps is way too far from Garmin. I think the reason why they have remove Garmin from the list is because the Symbian platform is dying. Too bad that I can't get any update from them anymore. Well, on the other hand, the map for Garmin is still being updated regularly by some helpful people. I think a separate file for the map would be fine as long as it is being updated regularly.

Posted by Boffill Bernardes Tuesday, January 8, 2013

I was a bit surprise about what I’ve read at MyNokiaBlog about this new update for the first generation of Symbian^3 Devices. This is good news for all N8 users and also the C7 and Nokia N97 phone users for this update could be rolled out earlier this year. The update firmware has a version number of 111.050.0003 but there’s no changelog available yet.
Nokia N8 Update

The main source of this rumor is Smartphonepro.ru who was also the same person to leak the earlier updates for Nokia N8. What we can expect for this update are fixes on some bugs to the earlier versions. It really surprised me knowing that Nokia is shutting down the Symbian platform. I can’t wait for the Official Firmware and the Custom Firmware to be available.

How to Save Battery of Mobile Phone

Posted by Boffill Bernardes Thursday, January 3, 2013

Battery life has been the most common issues when it comes to Smartphones whether it runs with Android, iOS, Symbian or Windows. You know it’s irritating when our battery runs out after 5 hours of use and worse is you are away from home to charge your phone. When I was still using my old Nokia N82, I always bring with me an extra battery anywhere I go. Chargers are not too handy to carry so I prefer an extra battery on my pocket. I’ll be giving you guys some tips on how to save the battery of your favorite gadget so you can make use the best out of it.

Turn off GPS, Bluetooth, WIFI – These three features of our Smartphone are the monster of them all. It drains our battery too fast so it’d be better for you to turn them off when not in use.

Use 2G instead of 3G network – If you’re not using mobile internet or video call, better use 2G network instead of 3G. 3G has high consumption than 2G.

Adjust screen brightness – If you’re eyes are bright enough to read your text messages, adjust the screen brightness of your gadget to lower level

Turn off widgets – I know most of us like widgets but there are some nuisance widgets that are installed in our Smartphone that we sometimes ignore. Widgets runs in the background even if you’re phone are in lock mode and sometimes use an Internet connection which will surely drain your battery faster.

Other options that you have to turn off to save battery are vibration, notification tone and key tone

I hope these simple tips can help you optimize your battery consumption. If you have suggestions, please post a comment below so I could include it in my post.

Ubuntu for Mobile Phones and Smartphones

Posted by Boffill Bernardes

The popular Linux based operating system, Ubuntu, was announced by Canonical to be running on Android devices. Ubuntu is one of the new operating system that will challenge the dominance of Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android system. Just recently, Mozilla, the creator of Firefox web browser has launched their very own Firefox OS. Another Linux based operating system called Joli is now being developed and is moving from laptops to smartphones.

The Linux based operating system will allow users to run computer desktop application to their smartphone. The code for Ubuntu operating system will initially be released this coming February as a standalone file that can be installed in Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus phone to replace Android. Canonical has no plans of developing their own handsets despite of bringing Ubuntu to smartphones. The good thing about bringing Ubuntu to smartphones is that it is targeting low-end smartphones.

The software features voice command called “HUD” (Head-Up Display). This will allow users to just type or say what command they want the phone to carry out instead of clicking the menu. It uses swipes rather than buttons just like the Windows 8 on tablets. It can also run web applications coded in HTML5 that is currently adapted by most developers worldwide. It has been said that Canonical will also develop their own App Store.
