STOP.

DO NOT READ THIS. If you hate discovering new things about your sleek mobile phone, your handy desktop computer, your posh ipod or your classy iphone, then STOP. Do not even attempt to read the next paragraph.

STOP. RIGHT HERE. RIGHT NOW.

If you are still reading this sentence, then you must either be one of the most stubborn and inquisitive man alive, or you may be one of those techie folks who just want to discover something new---newer---in the wonderful world of technology. Whichever of the two you are, doesn’t really matter. I am about to share something that will satisfy both the techie and the stubborn in you. I’m talking---no, writing---about Symbianize.Com. And before you jump into ridiculous conclusions, I’d like to assure you, this is not your ordinary damn-it’s-asking-me-for-my-credit-card-number website thingy. This website is something more. And I’m writing this through experience.

I accidentally stumbled upon www.symbianize.com while I was browsing the web, looking for further information about my N95 which I bought last January as a gift to myself. When I registered on the website, I had absolutely no idea that a new world would be opened up for me---an amazing world of mobile applications, games, themes and wallpapers. Clicking each section of the website was an absolute delight. It was more of an adventure comparable---even more wonderful---to discovering fantastical things hidden in every nooks and corners of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Let me tell you how Symbianize.Com magically transformed my ordinary-looking Nokia N95 phone into something short of fantastical.

Before discovering Symbianize.Com, my phone was simply an ordinary mobile phone; good for texting, calling, watching videos, shooting pictures and other usual stuffs. An ordinary person would be content with those features. Not me. I couldn’t be contented with those things because like you---yes, I mean you, my dear reader---I also have a stubborn streak in me. And thank goodness for my stubbornness, I discovered Symbianize.Com. Now my phone is a virtual remote control of every home appliance you can name. Now I can make my phone talk---literally. Now I can hide sensitive messages from malicious prowling eyes. Now I can write a text message and have them sent at any given future time. Now I can program my phone to shut down at a specific point in time. Now I can plot a graph, solve linear equations and matrices, use scientific notations, convert decimal numerations to binary and other out-of-my-league mathematical calculations. Now I can hide sensitive pictures, videos, sounds and other things I’d like to hide. Now I can create Microsoft documents, powerpoint presentations and spreadsheets. Now I can consult 15 different dictionaries, read three Bible versions, and immerse myself with over a hundred selection of my favorite novel e-books. Now I can play my favorite java games---Monopoly comes to mind. Now I can let my phone do the texting, handle and manage all calls, and record every phone conversation. Yes, my dear reader, my phone can do all that. And it’s thanks to www.symbianize.com.

And the most fantastical thing of them all is that I haven’t even told you half of what you can discover in Symbianize.Com. Be it Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson or Motorola, you’ll be sure to find something new to discover for your phone. How about my PDA, pocket pc, laptop and desktop computer? you might ask. Not to worry, amigo. www.symbianize.com have got them covered too---even your PSP. From infos about uiq, symbian, opera mini, mp3, java to the world’s 10 craziest leaders, Symbianize.Com won’t disappoint you.

I almost forgot the one thing that made Symbianize.Com stand out on its own. This website is wholly run and maintained by Filipinos, of Filipinos and for Filipinos. And to tell you the truth, I think this is the most wonderful thing about www.symbianize.com.

If you are still reading this sentence then you are wasting time. I advise you to

STOP

DO NOT READ THIS ANYMORE. If you love discovering new things about your sleek mobile phone, your handy desktop computer, your posh ipod or your classy iphone, then

STOP reading this and GO to www.symbianize.com. RIGHT HERE. RIGHT NOW.

1. The greed of Christmas. Let's face it, Americans alone spend billions of dollars just on Christmas.

2. The massive amount of money spent on decorations while the poor go hungry. Christmas to most people is all about having fun.

3. The heathen formalism of false religions. God wants you to call upon Jesus to forgive your sins and come into your heart. God wants your heart, not religion.

4. The "give to get" mentality of most people. It's really quite sickening as I listen to all the Christmas music. Santa Clause is the hero of Christmas, not Jesus Christ. "What's Santa going to bring me?"...gimme, gimme, gimme!

5. The wicked diminishing of "Christmas" to "Xmas." This is so wrong! I see "Xmas" everywhere I go. Should it be any surprise that Christ would be removed from a holiday which centers around commercial greed.

6. Christmas charity is not righteousness. Just because you give some charity away at Christmas doesn't bring you one bit closer to God unless you have come through the blood of Jesus Christ. Your good works are filth to God (Isaiah 64:6). You need to ask Jesus to forgive you of all your wicked sins.

7. Worldly Christmas parties. All across America at Christmas time, booze flows and the whores take off their clothes. Every company I have ever worked for has invited me to their godless Christmas party. To date, I have never gone to one of them (and never will). All I hear afterwards is reports of nudity, booze, worldly entertainment, and immorality. No thanks Satan, I'll stay home with Jesus!

8. The utter hypocrisy of people. Everywhere you go throughout December in America, you will hear Christmas music. When sinners living in wicked rebellion against God sing Christmas praises, do you think God is pleased? I tell you, God is extremely angry! (Psalm 7:11). God has no pleasure in the song of fools (Ecclesiastes 7:5). You'll hear "Holy, holy, holy" one song, and then Michael Jackson the next. The radio-waves at Christmas time are filled with the most ungodly and reprobate heathens singing Christmas songs...it is a horrid STENCH in the nostrils of God.

When determining if you should let things get serious, remember: actions speak louder than words. With that being said, here are ten dating red flags. If you see any of these, do yourself a favor and reconsider if it's worth it for you.

1. You are not on the VIP list for breaking news

Were you the last to learn about this person's job promotion or newborn niece or nephew? Once things are serious, you should be among the first to know about exciting news, or bad news.

2. They avoid meeting your family or friends

If they are shying away from meeting your friends/family consistently, then there are problems. Even if they are very shy, they should want to meet those who are important to you.

3. They don't make any sacrifices

Healthy relationships don't require bending over backwards all the time, but a certain amount of sacrifice is necessary in a selfless union. When two of my friends first started dating one another, she demanded that he go to Farm Aid for her birthday, which was also the opening NFL football Sunday. While all the guys gathered to watch the games, he was sweltering on some field attending Farm Aid -- an event he never would have gone to if she hadn't have invited him. Now that's sacrifice.

4. They can't fit in your future

I admit it. When I meet girls, I envision future moments I may some day share with them. Most of my scenarios are her with me and my family at a Thanksgiving holiday or at a summer crabfeast. If I'm really into her, I usually relish the thought. If not, I kinda cringe.

5. They are too controlling

It's scary but I've seen many relationships where guys forbid girls to hang out with certain friends, or wear certain clothes. Major problem if someone is controlling you and not allowing you to be who you want to be within a relationship.

6. The "what are we" conversation fails miserably

Almost every relationship hits that crossroads where you both decide if it's worth taking the plunge into being exclusive and calling each other boyfriend/girlfriend. If they are confused and surprised that you're ready to get serious, the timing is not right, and you should try to figure out how long you want to wait around until they are ready.

7. They talk about plans that don't involve you

My sister has major wanderlust. She's always talking about heading off to Chicago or living in London for a year. She often talks about these things with no regard for the fact that she has a boyfriend at the time. If you find that someone is making plans or talking about far off places without inviting you along for the ride, don't let yourself get too into this person.

8. Your friends or family don't like them

Remember that your friends and family know you best. Don't take their thoughts with a grain of salt. It's one thing if a person or two don't get along with your significant other, but if a lot of them are saying you should reconsider, then do it. Unfortunately, we often find out about how much our friends hated that person after this person is gone.

9. They violated your trust

Whether it's cheating or a little lie that they got caught in, it will be hard to regain trust. Trust is something we don't give away easily, and once it's gone it's hard to get it back. We'll always be wondering about that lie, and doubt will creep in more and more as our minds fixate on that lie. Too often, people take trust for granted and once they lose it they never get it back.

10. You practice "unbalanced dating"

Are you always seeing his friends or doing things that he wants to do? Do you just let him pick the restaurants and events? Or is it the other way around? Relationships are fun when you are both able to contribute. If you're not taking turns creating fun times together, it will most likely fizzle out.

This post is specially created for my Mother. I woke up this morning and did not actually realize that it was my mother's birthday until I opened up my phone and looked for today's agenda. I immediately texted her and greeted her her special day. What I hate most about this day is that I am here in Manila and my family is there in Cebu. They are celebrating and I am here alone without doing nothing. Thinking the positive side, Hey! Its my mother's birthday. I am blessed that my mother reach her age today. I am a lucky son. All I can say is, I love my mother so much and as what the Boyz II Men say, "Momma You're The Queen Of My Heart".

Here's another shot from my N82. Just got this shot yesterday. I was driving my auntie's car and we went to this flower shop to buy some stuffs for her little garden outside her house. I stayed on the car and wait for her until she's done. I was so bored so I pulled out my phone and made some shots. I didn't realize that I got this beautiful angle from the car's steering wheel. I simply like this photo.

1. First you need to know what firmware you're running by pressing *#0000# on the standby screen.
2. Check HERE if there is an available update for your phone.

4. Make a backup of your phone as this will delete everything (not your memory card/mass storage). It's advisable to backup contacts and messages only to avoid problems when restoring it.
5. I suggest you take out the memory card before updating to avoid possible complications when the phone is booted up. Also, format your memory card as if everything is new.
6. Make sure you have a full battery and put your phone in General profile. You can also charge your phone while updating just to make sure it doesn't turn off while updating.
7. Open Software Updater and plug in your phone via usb. The Updater will detect your phone and will provide you the firmware needed.
8. Download will be 10-15 minutes depending on your internet's speed. Flashing it will take less than 5 minutes.

MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT INTERRUPT ANYTHING WHILE UPDATING AS THIS WILL RESULT IN BRICKING YOUR PHONE!

Gravitation (HourGlass)Gravitation is actually hourglass clock simulator that uses the built-in accelerometer to detect the phone movement and simulate the sand moving through the bulbs according to phone position and moving direction.

So every time you change device's position, an observer updates the acceleration values in each axis, it's range is from -360 to 360.

Just like the real hourglass, it consists of two glass bulbs placed one above the other which are connected by a narrow tube.

One of the bulbs is filled with fine sand which flows through the narrow tube into the bottom bulb.

Once all the sand has run to the bottom bulb application trigs the vibrator to warn user that time is over and that it is necessary to invert device in order to measure another time. It is also possible to change the period from 15 sec up to two minutes in steps of 15 seconds.

Application has a pretty good physics but high-quality graphics is as important to realism as physic and unfortunately graphic sucks a little bit and therefore clock isn’t as realistic as it should be.

1. The Bible - Various Authors (circa 30AD - 90AD) [Wikipedia]
There can be no doubt that the Bible has done more to change the face of the world than any other book. A mere two hundred years after it was created, it brought about the conversion of the entire Roman Empire from paganism to Christianity. Since then, Christianity has become the largest single religion in the world (with 2.1 billion adherents). The oldest and largest of the Christian groups is the Roman Catholic Church whose membership (1.05 billion) is equal to the size of all other Christian groups combined.

The Bible comprises two books - the Old Testament (taken from the Greek edition used by Christ and the apostles) and the New Testament (written by some of the Apostles of Jesus after his death - including St Paul who did not meet Christ during His lifetime).
The Gutenberg bible (a copy of the Latin Vulgate) was the first book ever published on the printing press. The Bible is the most purchased book in the world.

2. The Qur’an - Various Authors (650AD to 656AD) [Wikipedia]
The Qur’an is the holy book of the Islamic religion. The founder of Islam, Mohammed told his followers that he was given revelations by the Angel Gabriel. These revelations (spanning 23 years) form the basis of the Qur’an. After Mohammed’s death in 632 the Qur’an was recorded by word of mouth only; it was not for another 20 years that the various memories of his words were collected and combined.
The Qur’an is considered by Muslims to be the last revealed word of God (after the Old Testament and the New Testament of the Christian Bible). In recent years much debate has occurred over the content of the Qur’an - with its opponents claiming that it advocates war and murder of non-believers. Muslims generally claim that this is not the case and state that opponents of Islam are taking the text out of context.

3. The Summa Theologica - St. Thomas Aquinas (1265 - 1274) [Wikipedia]
The Summa Theologica is a multi-volume set of books which outlines in the most precise manner, the doctrines and beliefs of Christianity. It was held in such high regard, that second to the Bible, it was the book most used for reference at the Council of Trent (1545 - 1563). Its influence was felt all across the Christian World as the reforms of the Council of Trent were implemented.
To this day, the Summa Theologica is the primary teaching tool used in Roman Catholic seminaries and its author is regarded as a Doctor of the Church (a title reserved for only 33 great thinkers in the history of Christianity). It is also worth noting that St Isidore (popularly considered Patron Saint of the Internet) is also seen as a Doctor of the Church.

4. The Rights of Man - Thomas Paine (1791) [Wikipedia]
Paine, an English writer, influenced American Democracy and Democracy in general with his writings. According to Paine, the sole purpose of the government is to protect the irrefutable rights inherent to every human being. Thus all institutions which do not benefit a nation are illegitimate, including the monarchy (and the nobility) and the military establishment.
When the French Revolution broke out, Paine went to France where, despite his ignorance of the French language, he was promptly elected to the National Convention. His absence from England at this time was fortuitous because the publication of The Rights of Man caused such a furor in the country that Paine was put on trial in absentia and convicted for seditious libel against the crown.

5. Either/Or - Søren Kierkegaard (1843) [Wikipedia]
Either/Or portays the two lifeviews, one being consciously hedonistic and one based on ethical duty and responsibility, in two volumes. Each lifeview is written and represented by a fictional pseudonymous author and the prose of the work depends on which lifeview is being discussed. For example, the aesthetic lifeview is written in short essay form, with poetic imagery and allusions, discussing aesthetic topics such as music, seduction, drama, and beauty. The ethical lifeview is written as two long letters, with a more argumentative and restraint prose, discussing moral responsibility, critical reflection, and marriage.
This book, by the father of existentialism has been highly influential with other existentialists. Despite its great popularity, it was not published in English until 1944. Existentialism is a philosophical movement that claims that individual human beings have full responsibility for creating the meanings of their own lives. It is a reaction against more traditional philosophies, such as rationalism and empiricism.

6. Communist Manifesto - Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels (1848) [Wikipedia]
This tract, written by communist theorists Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels at the behest of the Communist League, has become one of the most influential political tracts in history. The Manifesto suggested a course of action for a proletarian (working class) revolution to overthrow the bourgeois social order and to eventually bring about a classless and stateless society.
Perhaps the most famous quote from the work reads: “The Communists disdain to conceal their views and aims. They openly declare that their ends can be attained only by the forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions. Let the ruling classes tremble at a communist revolution. The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win. Working men of all countries, unite!”

7. Experimental Research in Electricity - Michael Faraday (1855) [Wikipedia]
Faraday was an English chemist and physicist whose many experiments with electricity ultimately lead to his invention of electromagnetic rotary devices which formed the foundation of electric motor technology. Although he received little formal education and thus higher mathematics like calculus were always out of his reach, he went on to become one of the most influential scientists in history. It was largely his experiments that lead to electricity becoming viable for use in technology.
During his lifetime, Faraday rejected a knighthood and twice refused to become President of the Royal Society. He died at his house at Hampton Court on August 25, 1867. He has a memorial plaque in Westminster Abbey, near Isaac Newton’s tomb, but he turned down burial there and is interred in the Sandemanian plot in Highgate Cemetery.

8. On the Origin of Species - Charles Darwin (1859) [Wikipedia]
This book by Darwin is considered a seminal work in the field of evolutionary biology. It proposes that over time, through natural selection, species evolve. It was a highly controversial book as it contradicted many religious views on biology at the time. Darwin’s book was the culmination of evidence he had accumulated on the voyage of the Beagle in the 1830s and expanded through continuing investigations and experiments since his return to England.
The book is readable even for the non-specialist and attracted widespread interest on publication. The book was controversial, and generated much discussion on scientific, philosophical, and religious grounds. The scientific theory of evolution has itself evolved since Darwin first presented it, but natural selection remains the most widely accepted scientific model of how species evolve. The at-times bitter creation-evolution controversy continues to this day.

9. The Second Sex - Simone de Beauvoir (1949) [Wikipedia]
The Second Sex is the best known work of Simone de Beauvoir. Beauvoir wrote the book after attempting to write about herself. The first thing she wrote was that she was a woman, but she realized that she needed to define what a woman was, which became the intent of the book. It is a work on the treatment of women throughout history and often regarded as a major feminist work. In it she argues that women throughout history have been defined as the “other” sex, an aberration from the “normal” male sex.
Simone de Beauvoir (a pioneer of the feminist movement) argues that women have historically been considered deviant, and abnormal. She submits that even Mary Wollstonecraft considered men to be the ideal toward which women should aspire. Beauvoir says that this attitude has limited women’s success by maintaining the perception that they are a deviation from the normal, and are outsiders attempting to emulate “normality”. For feminism to move forward, this assumption must be set aside.

10. Atlas Shrugged - Ayn Rand (1957) [Wikipedia]
Atlas Shrugged was Rand’s last work before she devoted her time exclusively to philosophical writing. This book contains a variety of themes that would later become the core of her philosophy Objectivism. She considered it to be her magnum opus and is it the most popular of her non-fiction work.
While the book was largely a critical failure, it had an enormous poplar success. As far as influence in the world, the Objectivist philosophy gave much to the Libertarian movement which has enjoyed great popularity around the world.
In a three-month online poll of reader selections of the hundred best novels of the twentieth century, administered by publisher Modern Library, Atlas Shrugged was voted number one. She has a large following in the celebrity world, including Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie who have been selected to play the two main characters in a trilogy of films that aims to bring Atlas Shrugged to the silver screen in the near future.

"21 Things Most Girls don't Realize"

1) Guys may be flirting around all day, but before they go to sleep, they always think about the girl they truly care about....

2) Guys are more emotional than you think, if they loved you at one point, it'll take them a lot longer then you think to let you go, and it hurts every second that they try.

3) Guys go crazy over a girl's smile.

4) A guy who likes you wants to be the only guy you talk to.

5) Giving a guy a hanging message like "You know what?..uh...nevermind.." would make him jump to a conclusion that is far from what you are thinking. And he'll assume he did something wrong and he'll obsess about it trying to figure it out.

6) If a guy tells you about his problems, he just needs someone to listen to him. You don't need to give advice.

7) A usual act that proves that the guy likes you is when he teases you.

8) GUYS LOVE YOU MORE THAN YOU LOVE THEM!!!

9) Guys use words like hot or cute to describe girls. They rarely use beautiful or gorgeous. If a guy uses that, he loves you or likes you a whole heck of a lot.

10)If the guy does something stupid in front of the girl, he will think about it for the next couple days or until the next time he spends time with the girl.

11)If a guy looks unusually calm and laid back, he's probably faking it and he is really thinking about something

12) When a guy says he is going crazy about the girl, he really is Guys rarely say that..

13)When a guy asks you to leave him alone, he's just actually saying, "Please come and listen to me".

14)If a guy starts to talk seriously, listen to him. It doesn't happen that often, so when it does, you know something's up.

15) When a guy looks at you for longer than a second, he's definitely thinking something.

16) Guys really think that girls are strange and have unpredictable decisions and are MAD confusing but somehow are drawn even more to them

17)A guy would give the world to be able to read a girl's mind for a day.

18)No guy can handle all his problems on his own. He's just too stubborn to admit it

19)NOT ALL GUYS ARE RUDE!!! Just because ONE is RUDE doesnt mean he represents ALL of them

20)WHEN A GUY SACRIFICES HIS SLEEP AND HEALTH JUST TO TALK TO YOU, HE REALLY LIKES YOU AND WANTS TO BE WITH YOU AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE

21)Even if you dump a guy months ago and he loved you he probably still does and if he had one wish it would be you to come back into his life Everything said in this bulletin is TRUE.

Google is launching an open source web browser to compete with Internet Explorer and Firefox.

The browser is designed to be lightweight and fast, and to cope with the next generation of web applications that rely on graphics and multimedia.

Called Chrome, it will launch as a beta for Windows machines in 100 countries, with Mac and Linux versions to come.

Lars Bak, the Google engineer who was the technical leader for Chrome's V8 JavaScript engine, said at the launch event Tuesday he's confident Chrome is "many times faster" than the rivals at running JavaScript, the programming language that powers Google Docs, Gmail, and many other Web applications.

Here's the site description of the speed tests:

• Richards: OS kernel simulation benchmark, originally written in BCPL by Martin Richards (539 lines).

• DeltaBlue: One-way constraint solver, originally written in Smalltalk by John Maloney and Mario Wolczko (880 lines).

• Crypto: Encryption and decryption benchmark based on code by Tom Wu (1,689 lines).

• RayTrace: Ray tracer benchmark based on code by Adam Burmister (3,418 lines).

• EarleyBoyer: Classic Scheme benchmarks, translated to JavaScript by Florian Loitsch's Scheme2Js compiler (4,682 lines).
