Most business institution nowadays is targeting customers online. For them to be able to hit their target market, they will have to do proper advertising and of course, a very nice presentation on their website. Also, for a business to reach their goal, they should be having a reliable host that can be able to serve their needs properly. This is the issue that my friend from IRC is now facing. He is a developer and right now, his project is to create a server for the Ragnarok Online. It’s an online RPG game played by gaming enthusiasts worldwide. My friend’s server is actually done and is now serving players but his problem is that he doesn’t have a reliable host. There are times that his server is experiencing downtime and that’s gonna cause a big problem on his end. While talking online, he once asked me if I could help him find a very reliable and stable hosting site that can satisfy his customers.

We were both in search for this reliable web hosting until I stumbled upon this website that offers what my friend needs. I was browsing thru their website and was reading some article about them. I know I’m not really good when it comes to web hosting but I can sense that this one is what my friend really needs. Their offer is very promising and I thought that my friend would like to do business with them. I am still reading about their offers like the Managed Hosting and Colocation. This company is really superb when it comes to servicing their customers. They are really dedicated to offer a great value for money to their customers. Now, what’s gonna happen is that I’ll be contacting my friend and tell him about this superb offer and I’m sure, my friend will be very interested in this one.

I noticed that there are some people searching for photos of the tragic hostage drama in Quirino Grandstand last August 23, 2010. Some stumbled my blog for photos and information about the hostage drama. I gathered some pictures of the hostage drama from the internet. Some photos are very heartbreaking and some are a very big DISMAY. Some of the photos here are from Students who I suppose doesn't know how humilliating it is taking pictures of this tragic event. I know that this is very awful and just like Reigno Jose Dilao did, I want to apologize to the whole world about what happened. Just click on the photo to enlarge. The second to the last photo that has a Chinese character below it came from a Chinese website.

I and my girlfriend are now planning the design of the house that we will build together. The plan is I'll be the one who's assigned for the structure and she'll be assigned for the displays and the interior design of the house. I know it is too early for us to plan the house design but I think it’d be better to do have a long term plan than having a short term plan of the house.

This morning, I was reading my girlfriend’s scrap book and there she wrote her dream house. She wants a two storey house. All the rooms are upstairs and the master’s bedroom should have a comfort room inside. I was actually impressed by her because she doesn’t want to have a very fancy house, she just want it simple. I liked it simple too. If that’s what my girlfriend want, then that’s the house that I’ll be constructing. The very important part of the house for me is the master’s bedroom, our bedroom. We haven’t talked about the bedroom yet but I already have a plan about it. The bedroom should have a comfort room of itself as what my girlfriend want it to be. There should be a very big mirror and a big cabinet for our clothes and personal stuff. With regard to the flooring, I want a wooden floor inside our room or yeah, all of the rooms in the house. Aside from that, I want a rug too beneath the bed. A cheap rug would do and I know a website that offers cheap area rugs, SuperiorRugs.com. I’d like to put a rug too in the living room. A fine soft rug that is made from pure wool is the ideal rug for the house that I and my girlfriend are planning to build. I think I already know what’s the reliable store to buy a cheap but quality rug, SuperiorRugs.

Last weekend, I was at Tanauan, Leyte to visit the wake of one of my relatives there. On the burial day, we went to the church of Tanauan for the blessing of her body. I went inside the church and sat for awhile until I noticed that the church is old. The details are just like the other old churches that I've seen in Bohol and in Cebu. I never thought that there are old churches made by Spaniards in Leyte too.I went outside the church to check if it has the Philippine Historical Committee sign outside and yes, I ain't no wrong because it does have the information of the church by the Philippine Historical Committee. Actually, you won't notice that its old because the front side is newly painted but if you're gonna check the sides, you'll definitely notice that the church is made up of stones, usually stones from the sea. I then took some photo of the church and asked my Uncle about some information about the church. My Uncle told me that this church is mysterious. There was a priest who took his life at the back of the church, at the convent. I had no chance of getting there at the convent since the gate is locked. My Uncle also told me that the near the church has ghosts roaming around.

The church was made in 1769 and was renovated in 1850. Just check on the photos of the church below.

In my previous post, I mentioned about me being here in Tacloban having some issues with the dialect spoken in this City. Now, I'll be sharing you all the words or phrases I've learned in speaking the Waray dialect. I learned this words and phrases while I was outside walking, riding a jeepney, going to stores etc. etc. I didn't learn it by asking the people, I just analyze the thought of the sentence that they are saying. So here are some of the Waray words that I can translate to Tagalog.

  • Maupay = Maganda or Tao po
  • Mapaso = Mainit
  • Pasahe  = Pamasahe
  • Alayon = Makikisuyo
  • Waray = Wala
  • Kulop = Hapon
  • Maupay na aga/kulop = Magandang umaga/hapon

I think I forgot some of the words and phrases but as what I've observed, some are easy to understand but most are difficult. ☺

As most bloggers online, we are trying to raise funds thru our blog. There are lots of on making money thru blog, one example is by signing up a pay per post website. This is a good way of monetizing our blog because sometimes a post will cost you more than $20. I have signed up to different pay per post websites online and came across this company called Bloggerwave. I was a bit happy when signing up because it was too easy and after I signed up, I then got an opportunity. I created a post about that certain opportunity and submitted it to Bloggerwave. After a day, my post was approved. Once a post is being approved by the admin, you will definitely get a payment for that particular post. I thought the payout is every end of the month so I waited. End of the month came but no email has been sent to me with regard to the payment that I was expecting. I sent them an email about this issue but I got no response from them. I waited until this day, I got tired of waiting and decided to create a post regarding my Bloggerwave experience. I don't know if they are really legit or a scam but yes, I am the victim here. I am creating this blog post to share my experience about Bloggerwave. You might wanna check on this link about the comments of some people who were victimized by Bloggerwave.

We take note of Willie Revillame’s pronouncements in his press conferencetoday.
Willie is bound to ABS-CBN by a contract until September 2011. He violated the behavioral provisions of his contract when he threatened the ABS-CBN management during the May 4, 2010 episode of Wowowee, with a resignation if management does not fire another artist of the network. His behavior was generally seen as a display of disrespect and arrogance, completely unacceptable to the Filipino public.
As the one who violated his contract, Willie has no right to have it unilaterally invalidated. Contracts are binding agreements that must be respected by the contracting parties involved. The one who violates the contract cannot be allowed to dictate whether it should continue or end. Otherwise, contracts will have no value and may be terminated based on whim.
ABS-CBN is the aggrieved party, and as such, is the only one that can decide to end the agreement.
Despite all that had happened, ABS-CBN was willing to continue with the contract. Willie however, refused to take responsibility for his actions.
ABS-CBN wishes to reiterate that it will hold Willie to his obligations under the contract which expires September 2011.

Communication plays a major role in every human life. Every single being has its own way of communicating. A Baby will cry if she's hungry or sleepy. That is how she gets attention from her mother. Here in the Philippines, there are a lot of dialects being spoken in every provinces. People from Davao speaks Bisaya with a bit of Tagalog while people in Cebu speaks Cebuano that I consider deep Bisaya. People in Iloilo speaks Ilonggo while in Bicol they use Bicolano. But what if a native Bisaya will visit Iloilo or in my case, Tacloban? I am currently here in Tacloban and I don't speak Waray. I am staying at my uncle's house and we do really have a problem with the dialects we speak. There's a Language Barrier between me and them. I speak Bisaya, Tagalog and Ilonggo but not Waray. So when I'm at home, I don't normally speak to them. Well, they could understand a bit of bisaya and vice versa, I understand a bit of Waray. Waray is very unique and I want to learn how to speak waray. Waray for me is a combination of Ilonggo and Bisaya but some of the words are not found in Ilonggo or Bisaya Dictionary so its a bit hard. One of my problem too is that even if you use tagalog to communicate with them, they won't bother and they would still use Waray to communicate with you. I experienced this a lot of times when I'm outside. Well, I just thought that maybe people from Tacloban are very patriotic. I know this is a bit hard for me because I'm the visitor and I'm the one who's suppose to adjust to the new environment so the solution is to learn to speak Waray. I'll be spending weeks here and I think that's enough for me to learn the dialect.
